I'm pretty sure that either war of rights or BCoF will be a cash grab, maybe even both. Wouldn't be surprised if the melee is really dumbed-down to appeal to the "casual" crowd. Same reason spinning was nerfed in NW, don't want game mechanics that are too complicated so that a new player gets dumpstered by a veteran 95% of each duel.

The way spinning was wasn't helping.

You are all judging gameplay before we have even seen any material on that, let alone even play.Besides that, the game is set in the 1860s. Shooting is gonna be your main activity, a bayonet charge was not something done a lot in the ACW.
