Of course not. If your enemy has 12 you can play with 15. You can field 15 everytime.

Once again: If one team fields 10 men, the other side is allowed to play with 15 people. If one team fields between 15-34 men, you can field 1 man more. If one team fields 35 ppl, the other team isn't allowed to field 36, because 35 is maximum.

I hope everyone understands the system now. But there were no problems about that last season.
Of course you can field less men for a fair match aswell. So if your enemy fields 10 you can field 11, if you want to have a more realistic match. Your decision :)

Surely though in a situation where both regiment's bring more than the maximum, they are allowed to field more than 35 with a one man difference right?

Bashy is right. If both regiments have 40, they can field 35. Not more than 35.
