Shooting in charge is for people who are to lazy to come up with tactics.
The 6teGarde was camping at their spawn or in the corner of the map on a hill and we still managed to win 8:2. You just have to try harder... shooting in charge is just an "instant-win-button" for regiments that are good at melee.

If that offends you I`m really sorry.
I just used that match as an example. I don`t think the Spvg is superior to other regiments or whatev.

It may seem like I`m an arrogant ass but I`m just proud of what we managed to achieve with the Spvg. I don`t want to pick fights with other regiments.
After all we`re here to enjoy ourselves.

No, it wouldn't really. You can still rain hell from a distance wether there's fire in the charge or not.

If you bring your line in a good position so you can shoot the enmy like fish in a barrel, the enemy can simply escape that situation by swarming out and shooting in charge.
So I guess FIC is just an easy way around using tactics.

Without FIC you have to manoeuver your way into a good position to shoot and you have to try to gain an advantage over your enemy before shooting.
With FIC you just swarm out whenever you have brought yourself in a bad situation and charge the enemy.

I have to agree with Kali. FIC promotes melee but this isn't a group-fighting league. When you can't fire on the charge your position matters a lot more than without.
