Arming the Kurds is our best bet in Syria, I agree, but that would also mean we'll fuel a future conflict-of-independence between the Kurds and Turkey, which in turns might mean that Turkey gets to active the 5th article of the NATO.

Turkey is very close to a civil war. Erdogan is stoking the flames and also aiding Daesh. Erdogan and his dickhead friends are going the way of the dinosaur, the future of Turkey lies with the HDP.

I see Democratic Confederalism spreading slowly, would be better for us Europeans too. Now were just the lackeys of bureaucrats and bankers AKA filth of mankind.

Right, we're just gonna give up our right to elect all levels of government and replace it by a system where we just elect our local council. Sure is more democratic.

Not really. Sure, installing types of direct democracy is more democratic then electing represtatives, but only electing a local council who then in turns elects higher level government and so on, isn't.

The eventual goal is the abolition of the state as a centralized power. In its purest form democratic confederalism is directly democratic on an autonomous, local level. They haven't accomplished that yet in Kurdistan as the war has forced them to divert most of their resources into fighting, but they have been continuously working towards it, and many of the ideas that they have enacted have proven themselves to be successful.

You're wrong about it being undemocratic.

Representative democracy is defunct. deal with it, Duuring. You have two choices, become a fascist or join the social revolution.

Why can't there be direct democracy on various levels of government? This is the 21st century, we have the means, the technology. Besides, this 'level-by-level-direct-democracy' looks a lot like representative democracy, with the 'basic' citizens not having a vote in higher levels of government other then the delegates they send from their own level.

Listen Duuring, my friend. This is the best us anarchists we can do to work with states without offending you're misguided, bourgeouis sensibilities and formal sentimentality.

Time is a ticking, we are heading towards a dystopian, capitalist society. Where everything is mentioned merely in money, where life is worth dick and material gain is the measurement of human's status. If we are not there already. The forces of good, to put it in black-and-white terms, are on the non-authorian Left. Anything else means destruction of the genius of Humanity.
