I've been out of the community since joining uni due to the fact they block all ports, and each has to be opened customly, and you can only unlock 50...
I mean... the 75th and 91st died in my absence... you know this... yet you still link me here ¬.¬

Well...

To be honest I liked the days when I could sit in my office... without a password so people could just walk in and talk if needed... and the 1 toll a week would get banned for a while.

Ok its not as if I was exactly in the closet about it all before, but I didn't parade it around ¬.¬

Once typing in what I believe to be i admin chat and typed "Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Apple Jack", but into U admin chat.
The response was hillarious but then I learned the lesson about check if you pressed U or I.

It appears you have a very popular server... and I seriously congradulate you.

Getting a full 200 man server filled up with 199 players on day one... amazing frankly.

I wouldn't ever imagine this would be possible without doing something bad to the other servers... so some serious congrats are in order

I have also seen Scrotum spam the chat with endless posts just saying "cockcockcockcockcock" etc etc.

I slayed him, and I believe kicked him the other day.

I cannot remember if he earned a temp ban, however this guy is a persistent troll.

Why?: I've been an admin for a long time and know how to admin and how to keep order on a server. To be honest I dislike having to go spectator to slay people but I do... sadly someone must slay the trolls. Also, with the rules being only a tad more specific, but by-and-large the 84e's rules and should be a smooth transition.
How active on the server: Relatively little. Had a nice look around as its new~ish, but it seems interesting.
Previous administration experience: 84e admin since September 2012, Admined for Pyrots events in addition.

Light Infantries use in Line Battles is viable and testable.

I was part of a Light Infantry Regiment and it worked very well.

Though not as accurate as Rifles, Light Infantry can still have bayonets and... frankly Light Infantry without bayonets are pointless. You use them specifically for more accurate but with a bayonet.

Their effectiveness would be very large in any event that allows fire in the charge due to no accuracy penalty while moving, though my Regiment attended none that did and we would not test this (nor did we want to).

If you use them well, they can work. They are slightly less accurate skirms, who can however handle themselves in a fight better with the bayonets.

Reason(if you know): Unknown, I had just entered the server.
Apologies/Notice: Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I just want to apologise for this, openly and clearly.
This ban was made during the time when "Betty the Bomber" was entering the server back and forth.
Cunny_Funt entered the server, and posted a comment which was in my opinion relatively similar to that of what Betty posted and given the circumstances I banned you. (sorry but the name didn't help)
I would like to humbly ask that if an IP check could be done on the account as it has 1 post, however I do suspect that you are not in fact one of Betty's CD keys.
If this is the case then I do really apologise for banning you. I am sorry.

PS, The server reached 200 players today. We need log bans for Betty so the server doesn't receive a bad reputation. I've seen her before but she is getting ridiculous. I believe there are 2 others with her. 3 Regularly drop after she flames chat. Admins are struggling otherwise, her fueling the fires of chat, doesn't help.

In general I am the Jack-of-all-trades master of none.
I'm decent at line and Skirmishing, but prefer melee with bayonets, Light Infantry is literally the jack-of-all-trades so suits me best. I'm also ok at commanding not amazing but I can most of the time without having mega deaths before getting into a fight
Everything else is lacking but I'm ok with them, just not good. Terrible with mortars though.

Yes, even if kolorado did do anything really bad (which I couldn't see him doing as a usually rule abiding player), he has been banned for quite some time now and deserves a second chance.

With LeatherJacket, as I said yesterday, I think he is a good guy too and should be unbanned.

I second that motion.

I've never seen LeatherJacket breaking any rules at all, and only ever suffering one auto kick, thats because LeatherJacket gets into melee and was unlucky this 1 match out of the past 6 months of playing or more...

With a player of his stature I think either the evidence for his ban needs to be published, or please unban him.

I know betty has a huge history of trolling and I havent been around on 84e recently so I cant say what she did or didnt do. But I can say that when playing on the Official Zulu server which I was admin on she never broke rules.

Anyway, telling someone to shut up, is aggressive. Requesting that someone please use less Purple Chat, polite and reasonable.
Its all about method. I would say that clarification would be welcome but broadly the ethos of the rule I would fully agree with.

ps, private messages don't often stay private between co-workers. It was a Temp ban, so try re-connecting. If you can't then its a wider problem with the server everyone has been having for all of NW.

It is a Rule enforced by all admins, one which we are told to enforce but... isn't on the thread so... Aldamar, you may want to edit it in so people are aware of it.

The Rule is be respectful to the admins.
This is a loose rule, and it is a very wavery Rule where admins can choose the course of action with some margin of error. Generally if you insult or harass the admin, you can then be removed from the server, kick, or temp. A perma ban only if you've broken other rules and earned a temp ban in the past.
I do agree with the aim of the Rule, but do think maybe there needs to be some specification around both: Where it is stated; and What the exact Rule is.

Saying "please shut up pink guy", is targeting the admin (unless there was someone called "pink_guy" on the server, which there wasn't), and therefore would be in the Admins realm of decision of how to act.
Sadly, we are human, and if you have been causing problems OR have a lot of problems surrounding you, then getting you off of the server for an hour... its very understandable.

One thing to take from this in a constructive manner is a Rule or two may need some re-clarification so its clearer for admins, when and how to act, as the current rule does give a lot of leeway. Also stating them Officially on the thread helps too
