Secret alliance Spain? Anglo-Spanish Empire yeah?

Speaking of that. Are Paradox interactive games not notoriously bad for becoming desynched, requiring constant reloads? I never had this problem with Hearts of Iron 2 and that was great multiplayer, pretty funny at times - but they seem to have got worse over the years. Is Vic II the same?
