About
The North American Coalition Event strives to be the most fun combination events in the community. We want to provide a reliable and entertaining experience for everyone through a variety of maps, respectable rules and fair and reasonable admins to enforce them. This event comprises linebattles.
Event Info
Events will begin at 8pm EST
Info done via steam.
Regiments need only file application once, after the application is accepted the regiment will be permanently on the roster until the regiment leader or a senior officer notifies me of their withdrawl.
Regiment's commanding officers need to join the steam group in order to receive announcements and event updates.
If a regiment misses an event without notifying me before hand they will lose their slot
Specialty slots must be applied for, every event.

Event Rules & Guidlines
Player Behavior
- Regiment leaders will be held responsible for their regiment's actions.
- Teamkilling and teamwounding will be dealt with relatively strictly, so regiment leaders will be expected to control their men at the start of battles, if it was an accident apologize.
- This shouldn't need to be explained but there will be zero tolerance for trolls.
- No derogatory terms, and generally insulting other players. Respectful playful banter will be tolerated as poking fun is sometimes hilarious and deserving.
- Ramboers will be slayed on their first offense and banned on the second.
- No spamming chat.
- Musketoons are prohibited entirely.
- Do not delay the round by fleeing from inevitable defeat. Stand and fight.
Battle Guidelines
Line Infantry
- Line Infantry #'s (Minimum = 8 Max = none)
- No obvious gaps in the line, officers and musicians are allowed to move freely and defend themselves within reason.
- Lines of 10+ men are permitted to form double-rank with the front rank allowed to kneel and fire as well as reload.
- No crouching when loading or firing. With the exception of double-ranked lines.
- Infantry is permitted to fire on the charge.
- A line of four or less must join a friendly line (joining arty guard is permitted).
Skirmishers
- Rifle #'s (Minimum= 8 Max = 16 ).
- Light Infatry #'s (Minimum = 8 Max =16).
- Five man gap permitted for rifles.
- Two man gap permitted for light infantry.
- Firing/Reloading while crouched is permitted.
- Must maintain at the very least a cohesive blob at all times.
- A line of four or less must join a friendly line and fight as line infantry.
Cavalry
- Cavalry #'s (Minimum = 8 Max = 16 )
- Must maintain a cohesive blob.
- Entire line must be the same class with the exception of officers in case they want to be easily recognized by their men.
- Dragoons must fire in a vague line on horseback or dismount and act as line or light infantry.
- A troop of four or less must dismount and join the nearest line or skirmisher line. All dismounted cavalry is permitted to act as line or light infantry.
Artillery
- Artillery #'s (Minimum = 6 Max = 8 )
- Artillery should consist of at least two trains, two officers, and two rankers who reload the cannons, two extra rankers with ramrods are permitted. One sapper/engineer per cannon in order to construct defenses.
- Artillery Guard #'s (Minimum = 6 Max = 10 )
- Artillery may field any three cannons of their choice.
- Artillery Guard must remain around the artillery pieces unless the decide to move out, at which point they must act as line.
- Artillery Guard is permitted to fight in skirmisher formation while around the artillery pieces.
- If and when the artillery crew is killed, any remaining artillery guards must join the nearest friendly line, or move out as their own line given they have sufficient numbers.
