I've been pissed that some event admins, (certainly not all), won't enforce their own rules or let trolls just run rampant. Because, I've decided to start hosting again. Current plan is to have the first event on the 26th.
General RulesObey all commands given by admins. | No Intentional team killing. | No ramboing. | No spamming chat. | No using slurs in your username or chat messages.
If what you type in chat is enough to cancel, defund, or render a Youtube or Twitch streamer useless to funding my corrupt cabal, it is unacceptable and will be punished immediately. The funds from those streamers are used to support the ludicrous debauchery that takes place on our biweekly admin-only island getaways. No, you are not invited.
Pistols are considered melee weapons until an all charge, where they can be shot once but not reloaded. [Pistol Rules]
When 3 or less players are left on either team, all rules are waived for the rest of the round. [Rule of 3]
Firing out of line allowed inside buildings with 3+. [Garrison Rule]
Specialties will be offered and selected in teamspeak at 7:40. First come first serve basis, and NO unit may request it ahead of time for special privledge.
All specialty unit caps are subject to admin discretion and may be reduced during events.
All charge:
When the All Charge is called, you MAY finish reloading or fire at that time, as long as the message is in view. (roughly 5 seconds allowed here)
Infantry RulesSpoiler
Fire on Charge allowed (As long as the charge is carried through)
No Reloading on Charge or while crouched or out of line is no allowed
FoL of course not allowed
May use 2 ranks if you wish
Minimum of 3 to be a line, once down to 2, you must join a friendly unit (unit, not specifically line) or charge a nearby enemy.
You may play as ANY unit with a gun as long as you're dismounted (ie: dragoons, marines, arty guard [if you want], or light infantry. Light Infantry is considered line, as far as you follow the line rules.
Crouching is allowed in combat, but only if hiding from shots or behind defences, etc. If you're in the plains don't crouch then..
3 Players minimum allowed. 2 Officers maximum per line.
1 man spacing is allowed if you want, but don't overdue it, I won't be counting, but you can tell when spacing is too much.
Light Infantry/Skirms RulesSpoiler
Fire on Charge, Reload on Charge, and Reload out of Line is allowed, as long as the charge is carried through.
Light Infantry may choose to play as any unit with a gun (same rules as above).
Light Infantry may choose to act as a line if they wish, but MUST then follow line rules
May skirms is 10, min is 4. If you go over 10, add some specialties like Officer (not part of that number), Bugler, Medic, etc.
May mix units, as long as you stick together or work as two independent skirm groups.
ArtillerySpoiler
Artillery may choose up to 2 pieces, and the choice is up to the unit, and mixing is of course fine.
Sappers are given 100 points, and this WILL NOT change during the period of the event (ie more or less won't be adding/removing any)
Artillery Guard may choose to go any of the following units: Artillery Guards, Marines, or Foot Guards. But WHATEVER unit, they following the same rules.
Artillery Guard must be within throwing distance of an ACTIVE cannon. This means arty guard acting as skirms is not allowed (*cough* 65y).
Artillery is maxed at 10 persons, if you go over form either another line group, or get specialties (Medics/Musicians).
Artillery Guard may (of course) FoC, FoL, RoL, and RoC, but MAY NOT reload/shoot when their cannon has been taken over, or not active (same thing).
