There are British clogs, but they pretty much don't exist anymore, as nobody knows about them, and nobody wears them. They're more like normal shoes, rather than the mainland European fully wooden ones, though.  And no, they were never worn into battle. I hope.

The Dutch are not the only one who have clogs. The French have them. The Danish have them. The Polish have them. The Germans have them. The Russians have them.
In fact, entire fucking Europa and their mother has them.

(Prussian landwehr was famous for wearing clogs, so were the French revolutionary troops (THEY EVEN HAVE A SONG ABOUT IT), and there's a battle nicknamed 'The battle of the Clogs' which was fought somewhere in Denmark, where Danish militia abandoned all their clogs to make a run for it.)

Hell yeah we're active. Been that way since 2006.

We've got a heavy density of rekruten right now so if you're afraid of being lost in a sea of them, joining in a month may be beneficial. However, if you've read the thread and find it's for you - go ahead and put up an application.

I will say, however, we do not pub in I'44 or Arma II really. Most people in the unit look at it as a tool to do our realism in before a better game comes along and we pub in all kinds of games unofficially. So bear that in mind. There are a few other units who regularly play missions against AI and other units, however they are Allied.
