The siege of Carthage. After I had sapped under their walls (and obtained heavy casualties amongst my skirmisher line from elephants) I rushed in my Hastati and caught these 2 units of Carthaginian spearmen trying to get off the wall while my Mercenary Carthaginian Cavalry and Mercenary Phalanx took care of the last few elephants and captured the town square. Needless to say, I made them stay on the wall because as soon as they went down the stairs they got javelins in their face. It was a glorious tactic.

Sounds like a really good buy! Good job Crusader!

Well its about 18 months old, but basically Rome was made for xp not for Windows 7 i'm not the only person who gets the FPS lag, loads of peeps do, and i don't know enough about PC to try and fix it.

So my Britons campaign is going succesfull. I've achieved victory but I want full controll of Italy.
My armies have reached the border of the Rome province. The Republic's forces were waiting on me.
They attacked us at a hill which was at our advantage. It was a glorious battle and we crushed our foes.

Unfortunally after a heroic victory my game crashed and the battle was not saved :/
The epicness was to great for my pc to handle.

I was playing on the desert island map. The mod actually comes with a trench warfare map.
If you mean the mod looks flat, its anything but. Its got tonnes of new units, almost all of the armies that fought in WWI and its got a bolt action animation. It also has working cavalry and tanks. Its also got static and nonstatic machine guns. Its got historically accurate planes as well.

Haha yeah I was waiting for someone to catch the Pole part. And yeah, I try to stack units on top of each other whenever I can.
