Looking to get into Mount and Blade events? (we play many mods)

I've found that Line Battles and Sieges for Napoleonic Wars(and other mods) are both very fun and challenging. In addition, the game offers a highly competitive opportunity and a large community to play with and against.

The Forlorn Hope is a group of gamers that enjoy a semi mature environment with, I'm able to offer events DAILY. leaders of our group work to provide a atmosphere of mutual respect that produces a great gaming environment.

https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=5139.0

A few perks of the regiment:

-We will our own Private Teamspeak.

-We will have our own sever for training

-There are many opportunities to move up in the Forlorn Hope, including, but not limited to skill, how active you are, and being a good teammate.

When we  have alot of ppl on and coming to the event we break of into  different groups:
groups of units and personally a mature group and a more casual group for the more looser
environment.

We have rules like any other regiment & expect you to follow them.

•PTS will be strictly not enforced, I will be using a casual systerm of tactical chatter during line battles or other events, breaking this rule will just get u removed from the channel and told to chill out.

•Be active on teamspeak & attend trainings/linebattles when U can.

•Behave in a tactful & proper manner during training, linebattles & public servers.

•Respect other members of the ~[FH]~ & members of other regiments. (You cant be expected to like everyone in the regiment but that does not mean you have to show it.)

•Do not “Expect” To live long in this Unit, We a Shock Trooper unit we charge alot in battles and 90% don't run. every once a while u might see one of the young ones get a pissy in his pants and run. Not every one has balls of steel

•No dishonoring the Regiment in any way, shape or form.  if you think it’s a stupid idea don’t do it, if you don’t think it’s a stupid idea then Definitely Don’t Do It!

•Know the difference between “Fun” & “Trolling”.

By the way, did I say we have DAILY events? WE DO! Yes, as a respectable and active North American and Napoleonic Wars regiment we attend various events with other regiments within the community. Attendance is not mandatory, we just ask you partake in the events that you enjoy (this is a game after all).

Furthermore, as a group of friendly gamers we also come together to play other games outside of NW like Total war, Planet Side,ROA2 or RS , Arma 2(dayz) and 3, and many others.

In closing, we are an open community that offers a chance to come together in participating in the many adventures that, not only Napoleonic Wars provides, but many other games as well!

I hope you found this helpful and take us into consideration!

If you would like to join the Forlorn Hope please add any of the following on steam and let them know! Thanks!

I'm looking for a melee heavy, EU english speaking regiment with around 12-18 active players. Also, you must have lots of events! Like four or five each week.

My Steam name is "Sandy Beach" in case you need it.

i recommend the 3rd Regiment of Foot ''The Buffs''.

they are selective with their melee, and are mainly EU.

Been there, done that. I left for a good reason (nothing to do with the regiment itself, they're great) and once you leave you can't rejoin. Plus, although I admire their level of discipline, it's just not for me. A little lighter than how they do it is my preferred level.

~About the 3rd (East Kent) Regiment Of Foot~

The 3rd East Kent is a European and North American line infantry regiment. We strive to be one of the most elite, disciplined and well trained regiments in this community. Though of course no matter of your skill level, if you have the initiative to be in the 3rd then we want you! No matter whether you are new to the game or a veteran, the 3rd will provide everyone with an equal great experience that will make every player grow in one way or another. The 3rd is a highly disciplined regiment; we believe discipline is the most important thing to keeping a regiment structured and professional. This is why unacceptable behavior is most likely dealt with suspension or discharge from the regiment. Furthermore, in the 3rd you are rewarded for your actions. Show that you're skilled in melee, and you might be promoted to an honourable rank of Guard. Show that you're a leader and perfect example of discipline, and you might become an NCO. The 3rd is the future.

1. Do not retaliate. If somebody is teamhitting/teamkilling in an event or public server, do not fight back. Simply block and let an officer/admin know.
2. Respect everybody, whether they are in the regiment or not. Follow all server rules no matter how silly they sound.
3. Do not troll with our tags or anything associated with the 2te. We are not giving you permission to troll but, if you are going to troll, do it without 2te tags on.
4. Listen to all officers and NCO's
5. Be active and have fun! :D

Some History!

The unit was officially founded in February 1813 as Königlich Preußisches Freikorps von Lützow (Royal Prussian Free Corps von Lützow). Lützow, who had been an officer under the ill-fated Ferdinand von Schill, obtained permission from the Prussian Chief-of-Staff Gerhard von Scharnhorst to organize a free corps consisting of infantry, cavalry, and Tyrolean Jäger (literally, “hunters” ― i.e., marksmen, snipers), for flank attacks and guerrilla warfare behind the French lines. Volunteers were to be drawn from all over Germany (including Austria) to fight against Napoleon I of France; it was hoped that this broadly national force would aid in rallying the smaller German governments into the ranks of the Allies.
The Corps has been alleged to have consisted mostly of students and academics; however, in reality these amounted to no more than 12% of the total force, which was actually composed mostly of craftsmen and laborers. Besides the well-known Saxon dramatist and poet Carl Theodor Körner, the Corps also included academics, writers, and other well known figures, such as Georg Friedrich Kersting, Friedrich Friesen, Joseph von Eichendorff, and Friedrich Ludwig Jahn. The educator Friedrich Fröbel, who later developed the concept of the Kindergarten, also belonged to the Lützowers. In addition, at least two women, Eleonore Prochaska and Anna Lühring, had managed to join in disguise.

Every army has among its establishment a unit which is considered its élite. In the British Army under the Duke of Wellington one or two units, such as those of the Light Division, could lay claim to élite status on the basis of their records. But surely the élite troops of Wellington's army were the Foot Guards. On being asked a few years after Waterloo for his opinion as to the relative merits of the Foot Guards and the Line regiments of the British Army, Wellington said, 'Oh! I am all for the Guards - all for the Guards.'

Who we are

The 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards is a British Foot Guard regiment with a long and exceptional history, who can trace their origin back to 1642 when, by order of King Charles I, the regiment was raised by Archibald Campbell, 1st Marquess of Argyll for service in Ireland, and was known as the Marquis of Argyll's Royal Regiment. As one of the senior infantry regiments of the British Army, the 3rd takes precedence after the 2nd Regiment of Foot Guards, and is subsequently followed by the line infantry in the Infantry Order of Precedence. As Foot Guards our primary focus differs little from traditional line infantry; advancing steadily across the battlefield whilst demolishing those who stand in our way, be they line infantry, rifleman or otherwise.

Freikorps Light Infantry is recruiting!

The Freikorps Light Infantry (FK) is looking for motivated players who want to join our ranks. We accept both the experienced and the new, and although the current members are primarily European (from over five countries), we accept people of all nationalities. We prefer mature members, to guarantee an ideal atmosphere in the regiment.

As a light infantry regiment, we offer players the possibility to vary their play. Some nations allow their light infantry the choice between varying weapons, and sometimes we play as line infantry or jaegers/riflemen instead. We strive to hone our skills in all aspects of the game, and believe this allows people to keep enjoying the game.

We play together with the Freikorps Cavalry and Artillery detachments, and believe a balance between individual skill and good co-operation is the key to winning victories and - more importantly - keep enjoying ourselves in linebattles.
Aside from Napoleonic Wars, we have a bustling community in which some of us play other games together as well. We firmly believe in good understanding within the regiment.

Our fixed schedule is:
Tuesday 7PM GMT: Training/Siege Event
Thursday 7PM GMT: Linebattle
Saturday 7h30PM GMT: Linebattle

For more information, see our website: http://www.regiment-of-horse.enjin.com or, preferably, PM me.

About Us & Recruitment

Founded on the 10th of April 2012, after the release of Mount&Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars, as the 42nd Regiment of Foot - the Black Watch from veterans from the Mount&Musket mod of Warband, choosing to represent the most senior and - arguably - most famous Highland Regiment. The Regiment has since gone through the rocks and weathered many storms, nearly crashing and coming to an end once or twice. However through comradeship and combination of "play for fun" and historical immersion the Regiment has come out the better through it's trials. With a sense of historical appreciation and immersion, we can structure our Regiment through the use of historically accurate Ranks and formations. Now, while we realize it is only a game the history and appreciation of the historical 42nd and modern Black Watch is never far away. Upon acceptance of enlistment we provide our recruits with a Field Manual, that explains the basics of the Regiment, our codes of conducts and hand-made drawings of our formations.

King's and Regimental Colours of the Black Watch

Now the Regiment is a strong, solid unit which boasts good attendance and performances at Events and Linebattles. The 42nd prides itself of a sense of friendship and community, being much more than a Regiment we present ourselves as a gaming community which, infact, play 90% of game-time outside of Warband. While discipline and structure is used during Training, Events and Linebattles we still retain an ethos of banter and relaxation in TeamSpeak and within the community in general.

'In a Highland Regiment every individual feels that his conduct is the subject of observation and that,
independently of his duty, as one member of a systematic whole he has a separate and individual reputation to sustain,
which will be reflected on his family and district or glen.
'
- A 19th Century Black Watch historian

Wish to join the ranks of the 42nd Black Watch Highlanders?
Don the bonnet and kilt and proudly represent your Clan on the battlefield 'neath baying bagpipes?
We seek all able bodied lads of Highland stock!

Enlist Now!

57e's Badge
Who are the 57e?
The 57e Régiment d'infanterie de Ligne is a European based regiment  (We do accept some North-American recruits), We are a very disciplined regiment but of course fun is still to be had, and have the goal of becoming one of the best but also casual regiments around! We are a friendly regiment with a fair number of experienced officers who are always recruiting! Think this is the regiment for you?

Enlist here!

One thing we do like to make clear here in the 57e, is we are not just a regiment, we are a community, and have people in our teamspeak at one time playing other games, such as Verdun or EU4 which we play outside of event times.

Looking for EU members!
