Couldn't post the results yesterday as the thread was locked.
66th 7-
3 IVeCertainly one of the best match I've seen in the EIC, the first two or three rounds were extremely close, around 25 players per line, huge and close melee and shooting phases and an excelent discipline and fair-play from both regiments.
Salakien also asked me if I could take over their match against the 77y just after which ended up on the following result :
66th 6-
4 77yGood match aswell, no major incidents.
I'm also taking 1y vs 3erEJ starting in a hour approximatevely (57min).
Concerning the recent drama(s), I will limit myself to say that despite being really glad (and we should all be) of the time people like Chriseh give to organizing tournaments and making them sucessful (because yeah the EIC was sucessful), his judgement is sometimes questionable and what's worrying to me is the fact he doesn't seem to be capable of handling critism (positive or negative) really well, atleast in some cases.
We're all humans, we all make mistakes but to my eyes, having the back up of the community when organizing events of such scale is primordial and if Chriseh intends to host a second edition, I think it would be somewhat appreciable to have a third admin able to balance some decisions taken because while Pieter did a good job, he appeared a bit detached towards the end of the League, Chriseh seeming to post most of the announcements and taking most of the decisions. I know for a fact since Pieter told me, that they talk and exchange a lot but given the outcome of most of the recent decisions, more people in the sfaff wouldn't be such a bad thing in my opinion.
Edit : Also just to clarify, I have nothing against Chriseh, he is one of the person I value a lot among this community otherwise I wouldn't have offered to help him and Pieter as referee. I simply think being straight to the point helps solving most of the problem and even though I like Chriseh, I wasn't happy with many of his decisions during the EIC, same as some other people.
Improvements can happen because problems are pointed out by other people, the EIC was a good tournament but it can improved in many aspects which I hope it will
