With 80% shitposts and spams it seems several important posts are being eluded.
- First of all, is Belarus really going to be a team in NWWC? Considering their application and roster.
- Second, does team Iceland have a roster?
I know everyone wants to obviously participate in a tournament like NWWC, but the whole point of it is to have the best from that nation represent it and do its best, not all those who couldn't get in a team find reasons to create another team with half-assed affiliations to that very nation you are representing. Again, this has been stated numerous times and I see zero sense in why the organiser who has the ultimate say and full authority over these things has to bend over his/her (not gonna assume gender kek) ass and take all the shit from all these people complaining... It shouldn't even matter as the rules should've been clearly stated before anyone even applied so that none of this would occur. Rules about exactly the things being whined about and spammed here. Fuck "pleasing everyone", if according to the rules or to the organiser there is a problem and therefore a specific player or a team representing a nation cannot play, then those people will just have to DEAL with it. It's clearly making this over-complicated and needlessly exhausting to have to go over the same shit everyday on this thread.
Now, no offense to Caz as he's simply being naive in his altruistic attempt at 'pleasing everyone', but that's clearly not realistic, and it's also detrimental to the quality of the tournament. As has been mentioned countless times, the organiser needs to KNOW and DECIDE based on that knowledge whether he/she wants a certain type of tournament or not. Depending on this conviction the outcome will show if either team Iceland/Scotland/Belarus or any other dubious teams representing nations are to play or to disband... And this knowledge and decision should be neutral and independent of what anyone else feels or thinks is fair, because if they disagree then they are clearly free to go host their own god damn tournament.
I told you caz, this is not rocket science. I don't know why you feel the need to justify whatever procrastination of making it explicit how the tournament is going to be by asking for opinions or votes or whatever...
And regardless of whatever decision is made, zero fucks will be given, as long as it's been made clear how we're going to proceed with this tournament.
