The 82e Régiment d'infantrie de Ligne is a European based regiment (We do accept North-American recruits as well), we are a fairly disciplined regiment but of course fun is still to be had, and have the goal of becoming one of the best but also casual regiments around! We are a friendly regiment with a fair number of experienced officers who are always recruiting! If you think this is the regiment for you?

One thing we do like to make clear here in the 82e is we are not just a regiment, we are a community, and have people in our TeamSpeak at one time playing other games, such as CS:GO or other mods on Warband like PW/Mercs/Anglo Zulu/Native which we play outside of event times.

The 82e Regiment d'infanterie de ligne, formally known as the " Saintonge Regiment" was raised in the year 1684 in the province of Saintonge, France. From 1763 to 1768 the regiment served in the West indies and French Guiana. In 1780 the regiment was sent with Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau to help the United States during the American Revolutionary War. The regiment took part in the Siege of Yorktown in 1781. In 1782 the regiment returned to the West Indies and then back to France in 1783. Following the French Revolution the regiment became the 82e Regiment of Infantry.
