The rules we have are:
- Line infantry:
- No spreading out from the default spacing.
- Have to be in 2 row's or more.
- Fire in volleys only. No fire at will. The rank firing mechanic can be used but only against cav.
- No spamming of the "All fire now" button
light inf / Skirms :
- Allowed to fire at will
- have to be 2 rows or more
- limited to 2 per 5 members
- can spread out to a maximum of 2 paces (2 paces being the number of time you tell them to spread out)
Cavalry :
- Maximum of 2 units per 5 members
- Can go any unit you want, no limitations on heavy, light or medium
- Dragoons can fire at will but have to be in 3 row, default spacing to do so.
- When charging you have to stick to the enemy your bots are charging, no ramboing off to another unit
- Try your best not to kill the commander
- Melee cavalry have to have default spacing and 2 rows or more
Misc:
- NO RAMBO
- If you are the last alive in your squad then you find your nearest ally and join their group. if you're still in the charge and you're the last alive you may keep attacking.
If you're behind enemy lines and the last alive, do your best to avoid enemies and do no attack.
- There is no limitation on arty. We have found out they're not really useful when spammed, they just get over run easily. However they are very useful at anchoring down flanks. The few rules we do have on them is that Arty guards are allowed to fire at will but must stay in their default formation and finally do not officer snipe with the arty.
That's about it I believe. It may look like alot but it soon just blends in to become a fun event.
