A campaign for Europe by the five factions of NW!
Rules:
1. 1 turn a month over a 4-5 year campaign
2. In your turn you can attack or skip
3. IT is a free for all NO ALLIANCES!
5. It takes two events to occur to take a province ( A LineBattle and a Siege)
6. The defenders have a chance to counter-attack between the Linebattle and the Siege
LB RULES:
Max of 1 officer and/or Noncom per regiment if you really must. No musketoons or rockets and no "ramboing" please!
Do not troll (teamkilling, teamwounding, kicking, obstructing artillery, etc.)
If an Admin asks a question only Regiment leaders should respond.
- profane or abusive language, taunting, spamming, racial or ethnic slurs in chat will not be tolerated
- If your unit gets down to 2 men you must join another unit and you may act like whatever unit you joined.
If any unit is attacked regardless of its numbers it may defend itself including firing.
- If a Regiment LEADER has an issue with something or someone during the Linebattle,
please contact one of the LoB admins. Do not take unilateral action.
Line Infantry: Use line infantry type or Grenadier/Guard
- 3 men make a line, You may fire when in a line formation and static.
- Shoulder to shoulder spacing, You may not crouch while firing or reloading.
- May form double ranks if you choose, front rank may kneel.
- May crouch when not in combat.
- Must move out in a line!
- Each Inf Regiment may have "attached" skirmishers either Rifles or Light Infantry, these units must stay within 5 yards of the main body and act with the main body in all respects (no rambos) but can act in all respects as a normal skirmisher.
-Infantry units of 9 men or less can have 1 skirmisher 10 or more can have 2.
Light Infantry: (Min 12 Max 16)
- Allowed to use Bayonet or Cav musket if you please.
- May use 3 man spacing and may fire when in a staggered(not perfect), static line.
- Can take cover behind rocks/trees while observing spacing
- Must move out in as skirmishers.
Rifles: (Max 13)
- Are only allowed to bring rifles, but can pick up a musket later if they want.
- May use 5 man spacing and may fire when in a static state as long as they are a maximum of 5 yards away from their closest next unit member. May not separate into more than one unit.
- Do not not have to be in a line to fire and can take cover behind rocks/trees while observing proper spacing.
- May move out in staggered formation.
Cavalry: (Max 15)
- Must stay together while moving out.
- Dragoons are allowed to fire while on horseback while static and grouped together, maximum spacing 3 horses.
- May FOC as long as they carry the charge into the melee.
- Must ride and charge together.
- Dismounted Dragoons act as Light Infantry.
Artillery: (Min 6, Max 15)
- Arty Guards are played as Light Infantry regardless of the troop type you select even when away from their guns.
- No more than 15 yards from the guns or defenses when with their guns and can act individually without formation or spacing requirements.
- May have 2 sappers and any mix of men they choose.
- build points will be 150 per side.
Siege Rules(these also include most of the LB rules):
Rules:
- time limit per round is 20 min, defenders get 5 lives
- attackers get 2 artillery pieces, defenders can man all they choose
- 1 sapper per Reg
- Max of 1 officer per reg if you want
- No trolling (aka; teamkilling, teamwounding, kicking, obstructing artillery, etc.)

- No ramboing please, it takes 4 men of any Reg to move out from spawn or to come outside the Fort

- You may take any unit type except rifle (cav musket ok), muskatoons, cav or rockets
- NO CHEATING! (that covers everything I didn't write into the rules that you might try and take advantage of!!!)
