Because .. "NW esports!"
I still dont understand. There are no contracts in this league. No salary that binds you to an organization. A friends wants to join another friends regiment and you disallow that? I feel like you want to hinder the 3e's growth in becoming one of the more dominate regiments in the game. In order to do that, they must recruit. This goes for any regiment, not just the 3e's.
yeah, this whole discussion is back tracking into the teamspeak argument. NW isn't a 5 man hyper-competitive esport like CS:GO or LoL. It's a 20v20+ man game populated largely by teenagers.
My input during the meeting was as follows: Binding people to regiments isn't how competitive 1v1's will ever work as you run into problems like these. Regiments are comprised of friendships, not contracted professionals. Recruitment and loss of members is something that will always be happening and I don't think trying to stifle this regiments growth is the way to make a successful league.
The application rule should be to stop regiment hoppers and those out to specifically screw over the league by playing multiple groups. Those applying genuinely, with a good track record should be allowed to play freely.
I really don't know if we are in the right or not. The application process needs clarification. Those who really mean it when they say "this is an experimental league and can only get better. Thus it is still a work in progress, we are still editing the rules and figuring out how to best run this" should be interested in hashing out the rule with the moderators and Jorge before jumping to conclusions.
That message wasn't pointed towards you Grim. I am not the best with my choice of words.
