Mapping for NW in steam!

I looked up for a program to create NW maps, I didn't find only one app called 'MapEditor 0.9' tryed to install it, but it says it couldn't find the path of Warband. I have Warband+NW via steam only.
any idea? help?
and BTW tried to edit the map with built-in using (enable edit mode) is working but I can't add objects or generate new map???
any idea? please help  I really have some plans for a good maps ;)

Your Warband directory is within steamapps/common and you must play the game in windowed mode to be able to do some editing. There's a thread about this on Taleworld's forums.

When mapping, you don't use any external software. There is a mapping module built in. There is plenty of help around, use the search function.
