When you start the game try this:

Mini-window splash screen on start up
Configure / Advanced / Check the box that says "Force Single Threading"


Let me know if that helps!  That's my default reply to anyone who gets disconnected all the time.

Usually fixes disconnection problems 95% of the time for people who get bumped offline while attending large 200 man events.

Yeah that's the problem, it crashes before I get to the module and configure screen. I put in a support thing to steam so maybe they'll know the problem. It seems like a rare issue.
