Kinda sad to see them go if they do since they made such a big impression/hit a big benchmark for the industry with their Cryengine back when Crysis 1 & 2 came out.

Nothing will be lost, it really isn't a big deal. Put it this way, if they go bankrupt and close shop, EA will either take over the assets and IPs, or sell them off. Technically Crysis is finished, it was only a trilogy, so take that out of the equation and you have the employees, Cryengine, a few assets and a couple small IPs. EA will probably decide to go the liquidation route, in which case Crytek properties will be distributed. Honestly doesn't surprise me either, the business decisions of the company were questionable to say the least. I'm looking forward to this happening actually, hopefully the possible liquidation of the company will leave CryEngine in the hands of somebody that will properly market and distribute Cryengine. Right now Unreal is slaughtering CryEngine when it really shouldn't be.
