This is the regiment he is referring to.

Augustus was the head of the grenadier battalion at the time although they surrendered in 1806 after which I believe the regiment was dissolved

Lol, yes and no. Since it was 13te,  I thought he was including the guards in the line infantry regiments. I also assumed we were talking about late war units. Also the unit ceased to exist in 1806, and the regiment history section written here says that it fought in 13-14. Basically the name existed,  but the unit history written here is false, so that's what confused me.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that:

1. This is a grenadier battalion, not a guards regiment.

2. It was not the 13te, but a battalion made up of men from the 13te, and 1te regiments. I think the title was "grenadier battalion _____ " (put a name there).

I'll try and find you more historical information today.
