Just thought of a game mode we could introduce that would be good. Ambush! Half a company of the queens finest must escort a convoy through hostile territory against 150 zulu (each with 3 lives). That would be damned good fun! Soldiers have to get the wagon (or arty train etc) through to win,zulu have to kill all the redcoats.

Yes James you did just reinvent TF2 payload :D, but even so that would be a brilliant game mode for this mod.

You could edit the arty train in a shape of a wagon. Would the Zulus be bots or other players? Because if not it would be fair, but unfair if there was 150 zulu players and a few Redcoats :D Would they switch side and fight 150 odd Redcoats and you the Zulus would go in and capture.

I don't quite understand part of your post Scorpia"Would the Zulus be bots or other players? Because if not it would be fair..." If not what,if they were not players or not bots?

One thing is unfortunately inevitable is the Zulu team will probably always have to outnumber the British which may make organising events extremely hard. Perhaps we form the attending regiments into three or four groups so that we can easily rotate who plays British and Zulu without it being unfair. Or maybe we'll just balance the mod just that well ;)

But no this isn't a gamemode where we would have the British ambush the Zulu that's just....really unrealistic and probably wouldn't be that fun.

I think why this gentleman means by the bots is that will the Zulu be AI (bots) attacking human British?

And nice work on the mod so far guys!

For the event balancing I would take all the refiners in the server and maybe give on 2 or 3 on the British side and the rest that showed up be in the Zulu, to make sure that everyone has fun each regiment could be on the British side at least once or twice do they alternate each round. For example: 44th and 50th are British one round while everyone else is Zulu, next round 44th join Zulu while the 23rs (which was Zulu before) joins the British for that round. So everyone gets to be British at least once, unless they don't want to.

Oh and a message for james, you new to update your regimental thread roster, I've been waiting for my regiment to be reserved for awhile now, I understand your busy but it would be nice if you could do so.

Bots lack both the talent and ingenuity for that unfortunately, but we will likely host a bot server,similiar to the one hosted by the 15th.
