If you need help with a game. Whether it be installing a mod for a game or getting a game to start.

I get this message when I try to play arma 2 OA
Spoiler
[close]

I uninstalled and reinstalled. I tried to verify the game cache  as well. But Nothing works ... :P

it really is confusing but the ArmA games sometimes when you buy them, never work apparently.

try contacting Bi-Studio (the devs for the ArmA games)

And try going here to see if you can run the game- http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

just select ArmA II from the list.

it will ask to allow to install a plugin, click yes. no viruses are with it, trust me, i use it all the time.

Yes it can :)
Just because it's not listed on the page for requirements doesn't mean it's not supported, just that the requirements are outdated.
Pretty much every game that can be played on Win7 can be played on Win8 too.

Before installing any mods create back up files. Try to check the cache, if it doesnt help - re-install game.

Fixed the arma problem

go to My Documents > ArmA2 Delete ArmA2OA.cfg
