Good stuff. A lot of these are painted by Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau, a Spanish contemporary hyper-realist artist. He's done some fantastic work.

Musketeers did not wear armour. Pikemen would have them if they could afford them. But also armour use in general went down, in the begining of the war the Spainish currasiers wore full suits of armour but by the middle of the conflict they only had demi-armour.
