It's so weird to have such a nicely textured gun in the hands of man with a (Hate me if you want) low-quality uniform.

haha that uniform is not finished. in fact no uniform is finished yet in this mod. all of them have to be finished like wear and tear and dirty has to be applied. haha not to worry.

they will look like this when done. me and Ikhoppa made this unit for North and South.

Just remember this is pre-release textures and everything shall be historic at the time of release.  8) we are working not as fast because of the holidays but we are still working.  But thank you for the critique Duuring.

I like to think of it as follows: if you look at MM it was just a start and the uniforms were not great but look at NW now and how to looks. i think its just a matter of time and we will see some nice looking uniforms

Changed the wood again.
Spoiler

Surely you can go higher res with the wood. Other than the blurry wood, it looks fantastic.

That Colt looks like it's made of leather.

I asked that a while ago and got the response;
The colt kinda looks like it's made of leather.
More like casted metal.

I still think the texture on the Colt looks far from casted metal.  :-\ Simply brightening it will probably do the trick, in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments guys the Wood will be fixed I will refer Baz to your Post Rig. as far as the Colt since Baz has rejoined us after his RL stuff he wants to redo ALL the Textures although Ikhoopa did a good job for his experience. I value My whole team as I can't do half the stuff without them.

I think you need to adjust the arm and the shoulder when in the "presenting" postion because it doesn't look right.

ok well i have changed the wood. But i think the problem lay in the UVmap and not the texture. if you look at the butt of the weapon you can see the weapon holds its quality but if you look up at the barrel end it get messed up.

anyway there is a few more changes to make on the weapon. and its being remapped now to fix some problems.
