Make it so, in towns, the centre of the road is clear stone and as it gets closer to the edges it gets sandy/dirty. Not sure if its been talked about but its just an opinion

That's not possible, there can be only 1 paved texture. If we want more, you have to overwrite another like dirt, turf, pebbles, sand, steppe, snow etc.

Overwrite snow. I'm pretty sure we won't be using it.

You don't need another texture to make it dirty in spots. Just blend it with the path texture.

I thought this was a cool little clip. Gaius Julius Caesar addressing the XIII Legion Gemina.

Looks a bit weird if you have dirty spots on a perfect road.  :-X

That video is quite accurate. Titus Pullo was also mentioned by Caesar himself, but in de Bello Gallico, not Civili.

Spoiler
Erant in ea legione fortissimi viri, centuriones, quiprimis ordinibus appropinquarent, Titus Pullo et Lucius Vorenus. Hi
verutum in balteo defigitur. Avertit hic casus vaginam et gladium educereconanti dextram moratur manum, impeditumque
hostes circumsistunt. Succurrit inimicus illi Vorenus et laboranti subvenit. Adhunc se confestim a Pullone omnis multitudo
convertit: illum veruto arbitrantur occisum. Gladio comminus rem gerit Vorenusatque uno interfecto reliquos paulum propellit;
dum cupidius instat, in locum deiectus inferiorem concidit. Huic rursuscircumvento fert subsidium Pullo, atque ambo incolumes
compluribus interfectis summa cum laude sese intra munitiones recipiunt. Sicfortuna in contentione et certamine utrumque
versavit, ut alter alteri inimicus auxilio salutique esset, neque diiudicariposset, uter utri virtute anteferendus videretur.

Caesar's latin is very simple and, as you can read, Titus Pullo and Lucius Verunus were two of the best soldiers in the Roman army, but that's nothing to do with the Civil war.

Roughly the same as any other western European language. Italian also helps with the sentence structure I believe, But I don't speak Italian so im not sure.

Linguam autem mortuus est

vanum est

Tantum summus genus pueri addiscere

Latin is the foundations of most of the worlds languages that originated from Europe. Most languages use the Latin Alphabet. However languages like Greek and Russian do not. That is when you get those weird looking letters

Easier than for an english, in my opinion, but still if you don't learn it somewhere and don't get a good grasp of its grammar, hard as a stone to understand. I wish i had done informatics instead of latin though...But for me, after learning it for 4 years, it's become more like a second or third language.
