Good fun this thing. I already like it better than NW, though that is admittedly mostly because I'm already a lot better at it than I am NW. Unfortunately my time playing was menaced by a particularly immature clan that was sending people over to the other team to TK.

I did notice a pretty huge bug, though. I was playing as the French Chasseur and using whatever weapon they use when all of a sudden it refused to reload. Every time I clicked it would just go into the ready musket animation and stay there till I clicked again. I solved it by picking up another weapon, but if it happens frequently it could be a pretty big problem.

That bug happens in NW too Doc, I doubt there's much will can do about it.

Ah. I've never seen it happen in NW so I assumed it was unique to the mod.

I finally fixed my problem, thanks to a friend (thanks Cthulhu!)
 -On a side note, the servers are currently a "Wild West". So many purposeful tk's, and other crap. Sad. Great mod otherwise, thanks for all the time you put into it!

I think people are over excited.

Just some quick advice if you haven't done it already Wilhelm. Perhaps you could put on your thread that people will need to change the module name to "Blood and Iron". I presume that would be much easier than to have later either people asking here constantly or that people will have to search through the pages for their answer.

Glad you enjoy it. Yeah that happens in NWs too, it's usually lag related, probably since you're in NA, hopefully some NA servers will be up soon.

Well to say the least i am quite impressed with this mod. I've been playing it for a good 6 hours thus far and i really love it.

Once you look past the minor bugs like the epaulettes and collars being weird it is one of the most enjoyable mods for NW thus far. Great work and i hope we get to see more from this!  :D

That happens because I don't know how to do rigging unfortunately.

Maybe reduce the walkking (running) speed while reloading because its freaking annoying when you think, ah ye time get my old bayonet skills up and then he turns around finishes hios reload and point blanks you  :-\

Yeah, some units walk while reloading and some run, it depends on the firearms skill, I'll have to reduce all firearms skill and then improve the gun accuracy to make it so all units can only walk and reload.

That would be very cool but I don't think it's possible.
Although I saw a mod for naitive where you could ADS with the crossbow.
Maybe that mod could be converted somehow.

The mod is great! I haven't been able to test it to its full extent because there are no NA servers, but im really enjoying it. One thing though - cav is sooo OP, even moreso than in NW. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it seems like hussars have a fairly fast horse that also is pretty tough and has high health, and the hussar seems to get a heavy cav sword with that uncanny range and damage. I'm certainly not complaining - I went 25 and 7 with hussar last night, but I can see how some people who hate cav from NW would get even more annoyed.

It's requires being coded in.

In my playing they don't seem OP, i get shot or bayonetted every time i try to attack, especially considering how long the bayonets are now, also the swords and all weapons have lengths matching their model lengths.
