Make sure your mod folder is called "Blood and Iron".

I have to go out for an hour which is annoying at this critical time 

ohhh.. Derp for some reason mine was called realmwar? 

The installer puts in the name of the last mod you installed, you have to manually check it.

Edit: I'm installing the mod now, and it says it's still Alpha. Is that true, or did you forget to remove the alpha part?

Also, I go kicked for cheating when I selected regular Prussian line infantry.

It says Alpha if it's the last mod you installed, someone else had Realmwar, it's the installer being weird, just make sure it's "Blood and Iron". You shouldn't be getting kicked for cheating if you take line infantry, you may have a corrupt installation or a file missing.
