You know some of the Urban maps that came with NW? battle damage them a little and tear down some buildings to make them more 'open' for some great urban skirmishing.

Id like a map of a large urban area with a farm out next to it and long dirt road with forest off to the side and a river. on each side of the river is a trench system. you ether fight through the river, go through the woods, or take the road. on the other side of the woods is the barn with a cache of weapons or a look out point or forward communications or something worth taking. then a light trench system around part of the town. and the town to be shelled to im lots of places but the fields around it to be a mixture of nice green and muddy holes. also maybe a fort on a hill some ways away.

Really i want to re do Battle of Thiepval Ridge, 26–28 September. or similar./

Wow ... nice idea sounds interesting and really epic !
Dirt everywhre and the ruins of a bombardet city with some decaying corpses. Craters everywhere! You here a sound of a whistle and you have to go out and storm the bridge to get across the river! Everyone around you dies untill ... you ... get... shot... into...pieces !

There still needs to be some actual ww1 trench style maps with no mans land. They can't all just be an NW style map with a trench in it. This isn't the early war even.

An open map conquest map with various small towns to fight at would be cool. Maybe add in some rivers and bridges, some heavy MG's
