I hope they have an event where 170-180 people run out of the trenches and charge 20-30 MG's. Like a fun round after an event or something, it would be like a mass partizani charge, crazy and fun at the same time. But for actual events I do agree with willhelm.
it seems that the person on the wrong end of 5arge always seems to get the punishment.
Would be really interesting if anyone tried to use the "creeping barrage" tactics.SpoilerQuoteThe creeping barrage was an artillery tactic developed by the British army during ww1. The idea was that shelling would progress across no mans land to the enemy tembisa whilst the soldiers followed the shell fire across no mans land at a safe distance. This was a revolutionary tactic that mean that the Germans had no time to come out of there dugouts after a shelling before the British and allied soldiers overran them. This tactic effectivey broke the stalemate that had developed in trench warfare as previously the shell attacks would stop before the British attacking force even got out of there trenches meaning they were still in no mans land when the Germans left the shelter of their dugouts and had manned the defences, thus making it very hard for the allies to take an enemy trench.[close]

That is going to be an FPS killer.
god damn, Anthony is smart, he was able to get the shit AEF to tie with the best reg in the game. The tactical geniusness needed to pull off such a feat is insane. He's the Erwin Rommel of NW.
i always get an erection when i check my subscrptions and see that phresh cluelesswill vid
It won't be FSE developing it, so it will come out!

But we might give that a try just for you.
Anyone know how MGs will work in the sense of events? Will each regiment get one MG or will there be a regiment designated to operate all MGs kind of like arty in NW.
I think having a regiment dedicated to MGs would be better because they can provide their own security and it's a pain in the ass to command your men and a MG team at the same time.Arty is crewed by one man as people have seen in videos... if the typical 10 man arty regiment split between field guns and mortars, I think it'd better simulate artillery bombardments.

Faggots will burn in hell anyway, who cares.
