Servers shouldn't be set up for at least 2 weeks, the release of the mod is the most important part in prolonging its life and community.

Also, it doesn't actually matter much if it's the best mod in the entire world, as soon as those dreaded words "Dead mod" get said, other people start believing it, and they repeat it, and it spirals out of control. A mod dies because people don't play and people don't play because people don't play. It's a self fulfilling prophecy and needs to be prevented from the beginning.

We are completely aware of the situation at hand, but at the moment the mod is still in Beta, our priority right now is dealing with bugs and fixing all of them and make the mod playable.
The first modder for NW.

Wait.. you are actually concerned that one of the first World War One multiplayer games (Mod, but it's the same thing, really) will die.. because there are a bunch of servers? There are hundreds, possibly thousands of people who are eagerly waiting for this to be released, and who will play it more than they played NW itself. That won't change because the 333rd Regiment of Horsefeet put up a server.

On the opposite side of your concerns; what do you think new players' opinions of the mod will be when they can't get into a server, because the one or two official ones are completely full at peak hours, and there are no more to play on? Hell, how long do you expect the current players to wait for the servers at peak hours, before they simply give up?
The 333rd horsefoot server is going to be amazing.

If only competent regiments had their own servers. If everyone gets server files you will have a lot of small servers for small retarded regiments runned by 13 year olds with 6-7 members. Maybe make it so regiment leaders has to fill out an application to get the server files? So only the bigger ones get to have servers?
