American football should be called soccer, and regular football should just be called football. Seriously, why didn't they do it that way in the first place?

Problem with this, around the world, football is called "American Football," while soccer is called "Football." Could cause confusion, unless I'm just being an Eurofag right now (even though I'm an American citizen, living in the US) THE IRONY.

Well I was saying American football should have just been called soccer in the beginning, which would have just avoided all the confusion of Europeans calling it American football, while we just call it "football", and Americans call REAL football "soccer", while Europeans just call it football. *ahem*. Australian Football League = I dunno what you call it
