They didn't use the Chassepot, it was adopted in November 1867 whereas the Mexican war ended in June 1867.
They would have been using Tabatiere Rifles which is a general name for the conversion of rifled muskets into breechloaders, it's really difficult to find the specific models converted.

Just like the trapdoor springfield but the breechlock was folded sideways.
