Any chance we may see a United States unit with a spiked helmet? Although probably not the most common of sights, from what I understand they did catch on for a time during the late 19th century.

I agree, I think the Dress Uniform is a very good looking one, but the US 1881 Dress helmet, which I assume is the helmet you are referring to, looked more like a Black Pith Helmet with a spike similar to the helmet of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infant than a Picklehaube.

Exactly, it was a Dress Uniform piece, not used on the Field.

We've not seen the American musicians and officers yet now, maybe one might have it?

Looks shitty on all the european and american officers IMO but jacobhinds cavalry charging animation looks great! Would like to see this one in the mod!

It would do the animation across all nations which might look silly. Not sure if that cavalry animation works properly but you can be assured that Parrot is very big on replacing animations and adding new ones.
