Known Bugs in 1.103

Hey guys.

So far we know and will fix for the next version the following bugs:

1. Commander battle does not work.
You cannot spawn... and stay "dead" forever.

2. Grenzer can mount horses

3. Columbia farm has a weird prop (big gatehouse) in the wall

4. crash whilst joining the server.
Engine bug, fixed in next warband patch.

5. some units can mount horses.

obviously we can't let it be broken for long, I hope to release a hotfix this week.

What about savlonien farm?  That log that people use to cross the valley is buggy keeping people from crossing it making them fall to their death.

Also can you make it where people spawn in front of the invisible walls instead of behind?  German Village, Russian Village, and Avignon are a few.  Naval Battle with the buggy spawns is another one needs to be fixed.  and fix the spawns on a few maps like Roxburgh, Avignon, and Arabian Town are maps that could use slightly better spawns to make leaving the spawn faster.  , Schemmerbach has a very nasty spawn for the team by the bridge.  20+ people spawn inside each other and cant get out of the spawn fast enough because of those defences are in the way.  People get restless and start teamwounding and teamkilling and there is not much you can do but watch because you cant see who is doing it when everyone is inside each other.

These are a few just off the top of my head.

(bg_)Ambush also has quite a few spawn issues. Many times I found my self spawning outside the ditch.

I don't know exactly which units, and which horses, but numerous troops are now able to ride horses (atleast arty horses from what I have seen, this being the 33rd Regiment of Foot for UK, and 15eme Regiment d'Infantrie Legere for France (sorry for bad spellings  :P ))

I know of a grenzer that can ride, fixed that.

I believe it is the UK 33rd, France 15eme, Prussian Footguard,  and Russian Sapper.

I always thought it was a little odd that some of the infantry classes could use horses, but others couldn't. I guess everything makes sense now.

On that note, is there any chance of changing it so that certain infantry, such as officers and artillerists, could ride horses? I'm not completely sure if artillery rankers and officers already can.

The classes are not supposed to be able to ride horses, but for some reason, they are, seems like a engine bug, we fix it by adding a dummy troop on the place of the bugging one, as always in this engine you have to work around the problems....

When adding a dummy troop though the whole list shifts so it could mean whole other troops now have the random able to ride horses bug...

I think I won't touch the ones that can ride arty horses, its is not a big issue, these horses are slow as hell anyway, please only focus on units that can ride fast horses..


Scrap that.

I contacted taleworlds... behold the reason;
The troops in multiplayer are on "Level 20" some troops have not used up enough skillpoints for their level, for instance infantry troops have only skills for fighting and running,  no horse, no trading skill (native crap).. and as such the engine randomly uses up the remaining skill points, for some troops that means they can run faster, some troops can mount horses and so on and so forth.

Luckily I have now fixed this mess for the next patch.
