I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a mod, that I could put in to action:

I was thinking The Second Boer war, but is that takin?

 This doesn't really supply any information on anything. If you want to start a project, I'd recommend advertising that to modelers, not finding modelers and then releasing any info on a mod.

I've seen people giving tips saying: First gather a team, then start a mod.

I think you're doing fine ;), Unfortunately I am not a modder!

When I started learning to mod I *imagined* I was making a second Boer war mod and I mad little bits like one unit and tried each little bit a step at a time, extremely interesting conflict though in my opinion and there are plenty to OSP resources out there that would work pretty well if you tried to make this mod in my opinion.
