1. I would play a modern warfare mod but it would have to be pretty darn good.
2. Most eras of history have been done through Warband modding sop since this isn't a game you are making make it to something YOU would like to play. If this was a game you shouldn't have to like it, it only matters if the punters do.
3. These aren't "stupid comments" they are genuine queries, it may seem harsh but its banter my lad, and we just don't want you falling head first into something you may not be able to complete therefore killing off your modding spirit therefore losing a modder who ONE DAY could be a very talented modder. Basicly keep it small or join another team, most mod teams may have spaces for noobs to train under there guidance in return for models or other things useful to them.
Allow me to step in here. Let's stop harassing him about his mod. There are a lot of resources for modders out there and if he is persistent, he can pull this through. So if you want this mod to succeed, give him some help. If you don't care, then leave him alone, there's no point in giving him crap.
There is nothing wrong with critical feedback, yes we may have took the piss, but the message was there "Do you have the skills to do this (or another) project?".
I'm sorry if I or any other came off as rude but its the facts.
