I would recommend altering the loading background, using either one of two ways; vectorise it (by drawing it out in Illustrator, but this is a long and potentially tedious process) or apply a cutout filt to it (using Photoshop). In my opinion, the image you currently have is quite low resolution and to be honest, is a slight eyesore; therefore a slightly nice improvement would be to follow one of my suggestions above. The cutout effect is the easiest and I will explain it, but it may not be the best solution here, it's just what I feel is from my experience - more experienced Photoshop users may have easier or more effective ways to do this.
However, here's an example of the result of the cutout filter (I just used the image you've put up with the steam overlay and loading bar, so ignore the effects put on those).
And here's how:
- Open the image in Photoshop.
- Click Filter --> Filter Gallery...
- Manipulate the parameters in the top right corner, for my example I used the following;
- Number of Levels: 8
- Edge Simplicity: 2
- Edge Fidelity: 2
- Press Ok, pending you're happy with the preview on the left hand side.
However, if you are to use this, I would recommend that you remain consistent with other backgrounds and applhy a similar effect to those also.
