Why had French Foreign Legion on the army of the second Empire ?

They were use only at the end of the war because they were not authorize to fight on French homeland , but at the end they were bring in Metropole because of the lack of professional soldier in the army ! They are not a representative unit of the Franco Prussian war !

When i make the Third French Republic faction they will be introduced as an official unit, but beta can make a skin if he wants for now.
