No, it'll be an actual scope. It's possible to add a zoom to any weapon. Similar to that of the sight in NW, you can add that, and change the picture to that of a crosshair.

Cool, glad to hear  :)
In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

Restrict it to iron sight only and I'll be happy, that feels very realistic.

I dunno, I love my third person view

So, you want to run around with ads only?  :o

I dunno, I love my third person view

This will still be an option. Aiming down the sights will be in first person view only. You can still shot and aim in third, if I'm not mistaken.

Poll is locked. There is a problem with the script, it has not been updated in months, and will not work correctly with NW. I'm so sorry guys. I feel like a bad guy now, since I got so many of you excited. However, we can still change the aiming animation to something very similar. Kind of like the animation from North and South. Very close to the face, it will almost feel like first person.

It would have been nice, the 3rd person crosshairs inaccurate purposefully and the first person ones a usable animation that would promote some realism. I feel like gameplay would be like Blood and Iron 3rd person shooting constantly due to accuracy.

Don't make 1st Person mandatory. I'd like to have the choice.

^ - What he said, M&B with locked in 1st person would suck I guess. You could maybe make it an option in the administrator panel so that 'if' people want to they can host 'realism' events?
Dekkers has become the community's designated old man with alzheimers who sits in the corner reminiscing about simpler times, happier times... "The spins" he wails "do you remember the SPINS!!!"

My suggestion merely intended to shift reliance from third person to first, a more accurate weapon in exchange for lower visibility. Realism is a thing hard to gain in a game of sword spamming and high powered weapons as such.

Make it mandatory!
Just imagine going around a corner, it would be much more tense since you can't just peak around a corner using 3rd person.

Don't make it mandatory! Imagine a close quarters fight with such a limited field of view. First person is and still will be vastly superior for shooting, worry not, it will be used. But melee is already going to probably have a much smaller role, forcing 1st person will only diminish it even further.

I'm unsure of where you guys pulled this mandatory first person perspective from...  :o

Will there be rocket launchers and grenades? They're already in NWs as admin weapons.
