Standing with musket animation help

Hi all

Is it possible to make animation holding weapon like this? :

Everytime I try to make that, I get something like this :

Well you can do that easily by roto translating them, but when they aim, it'll look more like a bazooka than a musket

The animation is not exactly what you're after, but the response is the same: the weapons are bound, by a certain point, to the hand bones thus making animations quite tricky. It's possible to use vertex animations to shift them, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that properly.

Basically, it is possible to do it, but it will only work for screenshot posing. Once you try to play, the animation will look extremely weird.
