If I can sum up this mod, it is VERY deadly. Most of the time melee is useless unless you're literally bumping into them. Otherwise people will just reload and run away at the same time. Prepare to get lolsniped from every direction. Not saying this is a bad thing, it's just you really need to think terrain and tactics.

I wanted to join in the linebattle but I didn't know who to PM or such. :/
Humans are extremely complicated creatures. Death uncomplicates them to a frightening degree...

Yeah, I saw very little melee if any at all in the ronan's video.

Small update because I haven't for a while. The closed Alpha has been out for one week now and so far it's been a great success, everyone is having fun and enjoying themselves, we've had a few great events which have worked pretty well and gone smoothly. I've got lots of good feedback and i've got a list of notes and bugs to work through. Anyway here's a small update of new units.
These are more Franc Tireurs, the ones currently in the game which you might have played in Alpha are the basic ones, the civilians who picked up guns, but these are the more organised ones we saw a bit later in the war who adopted uniforms, but still fought as guerrillas behind enemy lines. There are 3 units. Note the second one looks similar to an ACW unit, thats because, the war being only a few years later, many based their style off Americans units, which is kind of ironic because they based their style of French units originally.

William any chance there could be an ammo crate of the sort? Sometimes i easily run low and need to load up again and it would be cool if there was a place we could go to for ammo. Also is it possible for the Prussian Dreyse to get a darker shade on the wood?
