Oh man, Commander Battles with this mod ought to be amazing, especially with some authentic maps. Love the bayonet charge.

How close are you to finishing? Or to doing a beta?
Closed beta to certain regiments in a month estimate and no guarantee. The closed beta will be incomplete and mainly for testing purposes.
Is there any certain regiments getting in?
The 32nd will have guaranteed  access since I'm in it. The 3rd foot guards will as well. You should join them

I would but i can't as i lead the 1st Battalion, Royal Marines. Oh well
Also what are the in-game regiments going to be?

What's already made.
French -
Francs-tireurs - Not regimented
Garde Mobile - Not regimented
67th Line infantry
1st imperial guard
1st chasseurs a pied
1st zouaves

1stChasseurs a cheval

Prussian
66th line infantry
2nd foot guards
30th landwehr
8th jaegers

2nd dragoons.

The rest is undecided, i tend to make what has the most sources really, there will be hussars and lancers/ulans and cuirassiers too.

Bacon is doing a map, I've put some of blitz brilliant maps in, but you're more than welcome to make a map. Bazeilles was a map i specifically wanted, early urban warfare, make sure there's lots of enter-able buildings.

It may look a bit silly transitioning from melee to running, prehaps a less dramatic animation?

The transition cannot be animated unfortunately because it cycles.

Yeah, I was planning on making all the buildings destructible.
