Three Revolvers used in the war. The Remington was privately purchased by many officers on both sides, alongside many other American revolvers (Remember the Franco Prussian war was only 4 years after the American Civil war), The Dreyse revolver was also popular amongst Prussian officers, it was a revolver using the Dreyse needle rifles firing system. The Lefaucheux was popular in France and often owned by civilians. Historically officers who didn't purchase their own pistols were still giving awful smooth bore muzzle loading pistols like those of the Napoleonic wars, but they won't be in the mod because they're no fun at all.
