Mont-Saint-Jean belts?
« on: October 17, 2013, 04:52:16 am »
Okay, this is driving me nuts! :-[
I'm looking for the belt pouch and buckle of a lot of infantry units. Maybe I'm just going crazy but I could have sworn I've seen them before! This is my first Mont-Saint-Jean so I'm looking for as many shortcuts as there are so if anyone could help me out I'd be really happy!

To specify more I am looking for a cartridge pouch on the belt, and the belt has a buckle, I'm pretty sure it has the Napoleon's insignia.

Only the Prussians and Dutch infantry had belt buckels. The British had belt plates with regimental insignia, but the French had neither.

I need it for the 39th New York, it looked like they had that in some pictures. Nevermind though i decided to make it from scratch. :)
