It's a reserve list, not all the time have to be up to date list.
If you reserved a regiment name before somebody else did in a post it's yours.

I would like to reserve this regiment name for the french army : "IIIe corps d'armée français".
This team will contain many regiments :

- 28e régiment d'infanterie
- 24e régiment d'infanterie
- 22e régiment d'artillerie de campagne

I reserved the name: 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment (2e Régiment Étranger d'Infanterie).

It's a little bit weird if our names are so close to each other and the 2eme French Foreign legion never exist in history.

I imagine the use of parachutes would be rather difficult for the regiment, given that the modern design did not yet exist. (The 2e REP was founded in '48.)

But the problem here is that (As far as I know) Waterbeetle is referring to how he named the regiment, as the '2eme French Foreign Legion' wouldn't be the proper name for the regiment. Although, given that only one FFL regiment existed in the late war period, none of the names are correct..
Diplex, could you change the RMLE reservation from the abbreviation to the regiment's name, that being Régiment de marche de la Légion étrangère? (How did it end up abbreviated anyways? )
