History
The 26th Battalion was raised in Saint Johns, New Brunswick in 1914 to aid the growing conflict in Europe. Throughout the war the 26th Infantry Battalion fought through all the major battles of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. They marched bravely through Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele and The Battle of The Somme.
