Cold War: TOTAL WAR

-Send threatening messages to your enemies
-Re-arrange armies to look cool but never actually use them
-Spam factories and nuke production
-Steamroll tiny countries for their resources and then lose them one turn later.

Sounds sex.

Would be pretty cool to play as a state during the American Civil War, and fight for the North or South, together with other states. Fight to gain popularity within your union, etc. Have state specific troops, and tons of other unique things and buffs.

That does sound pretty cool, but instead of only state specific troops, have it like it was in Shogun 2, with different advantages and disadvantages for each faction.
I don't know who you are, I don't know what you want. But I will find you, and I will troll you.

Yeah, that would be cool!
Rather than playing as a country you play as a state.

Texas Total War  ;D

However, thinking about rome 2
I think a dlc for the Peloponnese war would be really cool since it was very rich in history and it focuses on Greece and it's neighbors as opposed to the entire ancient world. Seeing diplomacy flourish as you create alliances with other greeks, monopolize goods, and embargo your enemies to starve them out would be really cool. Anyone else agree with this for Rome 2?

Spoiler
god damn, Anthony is smart, he was able to get the shit AEF to tie with the best reg in the game. The tactical geniusness needed to pull off such a feat is insane. He's the Erwin Rommel of NW.
i always get an erection when i check my subscrptions and see that phresh cluelesswill vid
It won't be FSE developing it, so it will come out!

Please God let it be a 1830-1860 total war game. That's not too past NTW is it??

Well, that seems to be the end of line warfare. The Crimean War was still muzzle-loaders. Still, it wasn't as big a conflict as every other Total Wars' theme.

Isn't the fun of Total War rewriting history? Like how all of a sudden Morocco can expand all the way to Egypt and Iraq, take over Spain and Sicily, and completely rule trade?

Also I just love taking over Russia as Poland in NTW Darthmod :P

Why does everyone ignore Fall of the Samurai? That worked quite well.

Meh the battles get a bit boring, just camping a bit with guns and OP artillery.
