Chris Roberts has said it will be possible to get a ship like a Constellation within about 40 hours play-time, the prizes people pay right now for the big-ass ships are mainly to donate to the project and they give you a cool ship and some goodies.

I do plan to make my Retaliator a hub for cool shit, come fly with me someday and we will blow up a Bengal carrier and fuck shit up with the turrets while we listen to the onboard Jukebox and toke some mary jane  ;D
