Well no but if I had to choose only a few regiments and one of them pulled out last season it would definitely affect my decision

Well no but if I had to choose only a few regiments and one of them pulled out last season it would definitely affect my decision

I really think that it shouldn't because I didn't pull out for fun , I gave my position to a worthier regiment because I knew that we wouldn't be able to participate to our fullest ability that season.

If you dont leave during the off-season your excuse better be that you're disbanding.

All decisions got consequences, and I think they made the right choice. Now you can use this round of the league to think about whether or not you want to leave if you get another shot at it at a later point. The leaving regiments ruins a lot of fun for the remaining regiments, so I got no pity for them at all, even the ones "disbanding" cause they lost a match and can't win the league and thus runs away in shame.

Yet some got back in. So it is obviously not solely down to "they left during the last active season". Would be interesting to hear why some got in and some didn't.

I'm honestly not sure why everyone is getting so worked up about this. Sure some guys didn't get in and that's sad but they can always try again next season. It's not like they can never play in NWL...

For those people who can't understand our decision:

The follwing regiments signed up:
- Bold green marked regiments are accepted
- Red marked regiments were in NWL before (under a different name probably) or a regiment has the same leader now

No you can probably see our choice was based on regiments which are older = stable like the 21o or known through experienced players and leaders (93rd, Nr12). First we eliminated all regiments which are marked red here. Afterwards we chose 8 regiments from the remaining regiments.

Your decision has no mitigation at all though. For example, the 78th completed the first Two seasons, but were unable to complete the 3rd season as we had internal and real life issues. So the fact we had 2 active seasons seem to count for nothing. 1 season where we had to leave early, we don't get chosen, seems to be a bit unfair.

Also, with the amount of regiments that are interested, I really don't get why there isn't a League 3, you did it for the last Two seasons. Without it you create unnecessary friction. 

From your list, that's 12 Regiments your not letting in, I think it would be different if it was 1 or 2, but not letting 12 teams in.. I think its bad for the community.

I think the unnecessary friction is being created by everyone whining that they didn't get in...
